At our estates we grow different varieties of wine grapes: Both international varieties such as Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Merlot but not least we focus our attention on local varieties such as Muscat, Grillo, Nero d’Avola and recently time also the Glera.
The vineyards are located near the hills of the Trapanese embracing two very different vociferous places for climate and soil structure, as the altitude ranges from 400/450 to about 250m s.l.m. finding between the two rivers: the Belice and the Modione that with the presence of soils rich in organic substance and slightly silty give an excellent structure to the red grapes, while the hilly areas that exceed even the 450 meters high lend themselves very well to the cultivation of white grapes, such as Grillo, Catarratto, Glera, etc.
Thanks to the loose soils and the thermal excursion, between day and night grapes and aromas are brought to the grapes that are unique throughout the province of Trapani.
La Glera, known as Prosecco, was one of the last varieties authorized in Sicily that found us as pioneers of this new challenge.
Planted in the wine-growing area at a height of 400 meters each year it gives us a beautiful colored grape with a golden yellow color, slightly acidic and full of aromas and flavors that express the sweetness of the Sicilian territory.
